The MC3500 MKII is a monophonic tube block that carefully respects the particularities of its predecessor (the legendary MC3500, used to provide sound for the legendary Woodstock festival in 1969 and present on the market from 1968 to 1971), while equipping it with the developments McIntosh 's brightest technological achievements. The electronic part of the MC3500 MKII is completed with sophisticated electronic protection made up of two great McIntosh classics: the Power Guard Screen Grid Sensor (SGS) systems – version for tube amplifiers of the famous Power Guard – and Sentry Monitor.
