The iFi Zen CAN Signature V2 has been specially designed to get the most out of Sennheiser HD 6XX headphones but can also adapt perfectly to a wide range of headphones from other brands.
This is a fully analog headphone amplifier with a switchable EQ circuit designed specifically to get the most out of the HD 6XX. Called ActivEQ, this circuit calibrates the amplifier signal to complement the frequency response characteristics of the HD 6XX, thereby tailoring its performance to precisely fit the headphones like a tailored suit. What's more, ActivEQ does this without adding any of the distortion commonly associated with passive EQ circuits. Built with a high-end circuit design and components drawn from the iFi Pro range, including the Pro iCAN class A output stage, this compact amplifier can drive 15V/750mW into 300 ohms with less than 0.0066% of distortion, ideal for the 6XX. It's also equipped with a range of flexible features, including adjustable gain, ideal for dialing in other headphone models. The Zen CAN Signature V2 comes with iFi audio's iPower standard SMPS power supply.
