Version of the PRE35 Prisma model stripped of the Prisma functionality (which can be added later if the user so wishes), the PRE35 DAC is a very high-performance modular architecture stereo preamplifier, which combines completely analog signal processing circuitry with a high-level DAC section. The starting point of the PRE35 Prisma is 100% analog and balanced circuitry that has been designed to strictly preserve the signal coming from any source. For its part, the DAC section, embodied in the Primare DM35 digital signal processing module, is a sophisticated piece of engineering compatible with files encoded in PCM up to 32 bits/768 kHz and DSD up to DSD256 (sampling frequency of 11' 2 MHz) in which state-of-the-art 'chips' are used accompanied by discrete audiophile-grade components and is completed with very generous connectivity. As is the norm at Primare , the PRE35 Prisma is completed with an all-metal, anti-resonant construction supported by the brand's exclusive three-foot system.
