The DAC has two digital signal receivers: an X-Mos processor and a USB3318 with jitter correction for the USB input and a Cirrus Logic CS8416 for the rest, AES and S/PDIF. The chosen converter, a Burr Brown PCM1796, handles signals up to 192 kHz under 24 bits.
Metal film resistors and polypropylene capacitors contribute to the playback quality of this integrated amplifier. Mounted on large heatsinks, the amplifier boards, connected to the output terminals by means of 4 mm2 section cables, have a triple push-pull per channel, that is, three pairs of bipolar transistors.

The mechanical engineering was also well designed: five compartments that form as many galvanic isolations and contribute to the rigidity of the X-i1100 are integrated into the chassis. The steel chassis with black aluminum sides and the perforated cover ensure optimal ventilation of the X-i1100.
