The new ECI 6 MKII is a powerful integrated amplifier equipped with 4 analog inputs. The ECI 6 MKII offers 2 x 125 watts and is based on the successful ECI 5 MK II. To improve it, they have equipped the ECI 6 MKII with a power supply even better and a more sophisticated preamplifier module. The input stage is built from discrete circuits running in class A with zero feedback. The output stage runs with moderate amounts of negative feedback, carefully balanced between good extension and bass control, a detailed open midrange and warm, detailed treble. The ECI 6 MKII also features the design updates introduced with the MKII series, including the new faceplate design and updated, more rigid chassis. As a result, they offer us an extremely substantial and dynamic amplifier, capable of driving a wide range of speakers on the market.
