Electrocompaniet EMC 1 MKV
CD reader
New version of what is undoubtedly the oldest compact disc player on the world market, the EMC 1 MKV is the repository of a tradition that began in 1998. Equipped with completely updated reading system management circuitry, the new player Electrocompaniet digital also includes new components, more rigid mechanics and an improved chassis design. It also incorporates a very high-performance sample rate converter, D/A converters configured in balanced mode and an analog output section executed with audiophile-grade discrete components. The EMC 1 MKV also stands out for its exclusive mechanical and acoustic vibration cancellation system, designed to prevent the laser reading head from receiving unwanted signals that could degrade sound quality. In the words of its creators, the musicality of the new Electrocompaniet even surpasses that of the Scandinavian brand's EMC 1 UP model, unanimously recognized as one of the best CD players ever created.
