MHV (MOON Hybrid Volume) technology uses a clever mix of digital attenuation and analog gain levels to achieve high-performance volume control when the 681 is not connected to a MOON preamplifier, keeping the audio signal unchanged in the scope digital.
At the heart of the MOON 681 is the MDE1, a re-clocked FPGA with innovative DAC that converts the audio signal with industry-leading precision.
