The Transparent Reference PowerIsolator (RPI) is based on the same concept as its exclusive older brother and current absolute reference among products in its class, the Opus PowerIsolator (OPI), to materialize it in a more affordable product. Equipped with 7 power outlets, the RPI silences wide-bandwidth AC noise from the mains by providing uncompromising, perfectly phase-aligned power signals to any combination of audio and video components. In addition, a newly designed curved enclosure makes the RPI resistant to all types of mechanical vibrations and electromagnetic interference thanks to the combination of robust extruded aluminum side bars with a thermoformed metallic polymer top “shell”. Internal cross reinforcements and a dedicated epoxy filler developed by Transparent add mass to the assembly while further increasing the absorption of resonances and vibrations. Supplied as standard with a 2-meter long Reference Power Cord, the RPI also includes Network Source Protection circuitry, compatible with wide-bandwidth Ethernet, magnetohydraulics of the internal circuits and avalanche diodes to ensure immunity to all types of shocks.
