BluOS technology allows the IMS-4 to stream lossless music in up to 24-bit/192kHz quality to up to 4 zones on a home network. Using the control app or one of the many supported integrated control systems, it is possible to combine multiple IMS-4 streamers to provide sound for up to 64 zones, each capable of playing music perfectly synchronized with the others. It is also possible to play different audio contents simultaneously in separate zones.
Using BluOS technology, the IMS-4 can even access MQA (Master Quality Authenticated) encoded recordings so the user can listen to music anywhere in the house just as the artist intended.
To power the music, the IMS-4 should be combined with an amplifier for custom installations, such as our IA150-8C. The IMS-4 can be integrated into the Crestron, Control4 and RTI ecosystems, while being compatible with other BluOS devices.
Analog and digital inputs allow sources not connected to the network to be added via physical cable, making them available in each zone. The IMS-4 even incorporates a system switch to allow doorbells and fire alarms to be heard.
