Assembled in the factory itself, each driver of each of the RUBICON models is configured to match the model for which it is intended. The three 6 ½-inch drivers used in the RUBICON 8 work together to reproduce a clean, detailed sound without coloration.

The RUBICON series builds on the heritage of the SMC-based linear drive system, which was introduced with the EPICON series. By utilizing SMC driver technology, they have taken another step to eliminate much of the unwanted distortion.

The bass is optimized for long excursion, and the midrange driver for a wide range of useful frequencies ensuring that roll-off is handled in the interconnect and not in the driver. All of this ensures that the benefit of SMC can be enjoyed by even more Hi-Fi lovers around the world. In the RUBICON series,

Dali uses both the soft dome tweeter working alone and the hybrid tweeter configuration. Obtaining an incredible representation of the high frequencies. The cone used in the RUBICON series is designed to be very light and agile in order to achieve wider bandwidth. This cone is placed inside a powerful ferrite magnet that maintains strict control over its movements.

The ribbon tweeter controls the wide dispersion and in combination with the soft dome, the tweeter module starts working as low as 2.5 KHz. This extreme bandwidth combined with ultra-wide dispersion is an important part of the Dali sound philosophy.

The RUBICON 2 bookshelf speaker is the perfect mix of compact size and great sound performance. Featuring an ultra-solid MDF enclosure designed to get the most out of its 28mm soft dome tweeter as well as its 6.5-inch wood fiber driver and gold-plated terminals.

The cone used in the RUBICON series is based on the heritage and knowledge acquired from EPICON technologies, based on a light but rigid structure capable of delivering a surprising transparent and open sound, with a very low level of distortion or coloration.

The exclusive SMC (Soft Magnetic Compound) technology based on a motorized magnet system is a key element to obtain a drastic reduction in distortion and produce incredibly clear and natural sound. Its simple but elegant and stylish design will bring the sensations of a live performance to your home.

In the RUBICON series, Dali employs an improved single silk dome tweeter. This is an optimized version of EPICON's revolutionary tweeter, capable of breaking with the traditional speaker concept and providing impeccable high frequency reproduction.

RUBICON VOKAL is the ultimate center speaker. Striking an elegant balance between size and playback, the RUBICON VOKAL is powerful enough to accompany the RUBICON 8, yet compact enough to fit into most living rooms. The two 6.5” wood fiber woofers offer a clear midrange and work well with the hybrid tweeter module.

The size of the housing helps RUBICON VOKAL reproduce even the lowest bass frequencies to transport the viewer into the movie or play music in an overwhelming way. Like the rest of the RUBICON range, it includes bi-wired gold-plated terminals.
