The eighth generation of the Q series delivers high-resolution sound with greater depth and clarity. At the heart of the evolved Q series is the Uni-Q driver array. This innovation places the tweeter at the acoustic center of the midrange and bass cone, bringing you closer than ever to the acoustic ideal of a single audio source.
The result is a more detailed and precise three-dimensional sound image, which is dispersed more evenly throughout the room than with any conventional speaker. Thanks to the addition of the tweeter's load-damping tube that provides smooth sound termination from the rear, the lower treble is greatly improved.
Additionally, the new low-distortion inductor in the crossover provides clearer bass. The Q series faithfully reproduces the subtleties of powerful bass instruments. The low-frequency drivers now have greater surround sound, along with a new rear suspension that delivers crisper bass at high volumes.
The new conical structure improves midrange clarity, and the upgraded Auxiliary Bass Radiators (ABR), with new surround sound and a new rear suspension, reproduce more controlled and punchy bass. Its angled design makes it ideal for resting on the main front channels, providing a reflected effect on the Atmos ceiling or as any surround channel anchored to the wall.
