The center speaker does most of the heavy lifting in any home theater system, but that doesn't mean a center speaker should look like a heavyweight. Thanks to the compact dimensions of the 2.5" (64 mm) C-CAM midrange driver with an MPD high-frequency transducer module, and the 6.5" (165 mm) RDT II bass drivers on each side , the Gold C250 is a 3-way design without the large footprint you might expect. Its wide dispersion characteristics make for widescreen listening, and it's adaptable enough to sit happily between any of the Gold Series speakers.
