This versatile speaker, suitable for any channel in a surround system, including the center, is equipped with a pair of 17 cm midrange/bass drivers that feature a bullet-shaped nose cone to limit vibrations and, consequently, reduce distortion. These Elipson drivers are capable of reproducing frequencies as low as 53 Hz and have a continuous power of 150 W. A 25 mm soft dome tweeter reproduces highs with finesse and precision. Sculpted, multi-faceted silicone surround rings surrounding each driver reduce fleck and limit diffractions. Consequently, dialogues are rendered with extreme precision. A wide dynamic range and soft tones allow the viewer to be completely immersed in the cinematic experience. The speaker's steep slope filter is based on highly efficient audiophile-grade components. Its high sensitivity (93 dB) allows the Elipson Prestige Facet LCR14 to be associated with any A/V receiver.
