The EVO3 Ascension is an imposing power cable that takes the design and technology associated with this type of product to a new level of demand. Specifically, the new IsoTek starts from the use of copper conductors OCC (“Ohno Continuous Cast”) plated in silver and cryogenically treated to maximize conductivity, while at the same time being wrapped in an air dielectric with a partial contact of FEP so that finally an FEP jacket extruded seal the assembly. Each of these groups of individual conductors is wrapped in Mylar and then an additional shield of high-purity copper, before being lightly braided with air-filled FEP tubing. Thanks to this complex and innovative architecture, the EVO3 Ascension drastically reduces background noise, resulting in a truly three-dimensional opening of the sound image, coupled with unmatched microdynamics. Recommended for all types of audio and video components of the highest level –subwoofers and active loudspeakers included- as it is capable of withstanding currents of up to 16 amps, the new power cable of IsoTek also stands out for the extreme quality of the connectors it incorporates, being also available in a wide number of terminations to facilitate its integration into any equipment.
