The E-Glo Petit phono preamplifier is an ultra-compact electronic device with an attractive design and very careful construction - an aluminum enclosure topped by two beautiful wooden side panels - that borrows the technical solutions of its older brother, the sensational E-Glo, to put in the hands of the demanding hobbyist a sophisticated, powerful and affordable tool that allows them to get the most out of any pickup cartridge. The starting point of the new EAT phono preamplifier is a circuitry with a hybrid circuit topology, based on rigorously selected 12AX7 tubes, which are complemented by very high quality discrete components. This power supply includes elaborate regulation and filtering circuitry that includes very special 2SK209 low-noise J-FET transistors in a quad configuration, allowing the little EAT to exhibit an absolutely unusual signal-to-noise ratio for a tube-based preamplifier. empty.
