The discrete IA40-3 is a highly versatile amplifier equipped with digital, analog and Bluetooth inputs. Designed for easy installation, it includes dedicated fixings to simplify installation in multiple locations: on a wall, a piece of furniture, a floor stand or behind a TV. Ideal for small spaces, the IA40-3 Custom Installation Amplifier will perfectly power recessed speakers mounted in the ceiling of a kitchen, loft or bedroom. It will also fit perfectly when paired with a compact bookshelf speaker from Monitor Audio in a bedroom, den or living room. Furthermore, if there is a television in the system, the IA40-3 can be mounted behind the screen - with the help of the custom clamp supplied as standard - to mount a Monitor Audio Passive Sound Bar. (The customizable brackets can be folded for installation and include flexible, unbreakable sections to maximize installation flexibility.) Rated at 40W into 4 ohms for each of its three channels, or 60W into 4 ohms with two channels, The IA40-3 will drive passive speakers or sound bars to provide energetic and precise sound. If more bass is needed, an active subwoofer can be connected to the IA40-3 via the sub/line output. Whatever the audio source used, we have an amplifier equipped with all the necessary connections. The IA40-3 incorporates analog and digital (optical) inputs, as well as the most advanced Bluetooth wireless transmission technology of the moment – aptX Audio, created by Qualcomm – to facilitate high-level synchronization with mobile devices. The IA40-3 has been designed to be discreetly hidden, while its exclusive dissipation fin allows it to be cooled even in the most closed of spaces.
