The most sophisticated evolution of the Boenicke Audio W8 Standard Version incorporates additional engineering elements exclusive to the brand that allow it to provide significant improvements with respect to the W8 SE Version model. In my memory, in my body, and I promise you can hear it in our products.” The W8 SE+ Version is, like the W8 SE Version, a sophisticated three-speaker, three-way speaker that, starting from Boenicke Audio 's characteristic natural-shaped enclosure with computer-optimized internal labyrinth, incorporates unique solutions that make it a different product. Thus, the woofer used has been designed for large displacements and, despite its modest 165 mm diameter, it is tuned to 28 Hz and is not filtered, an unequivocal symbol of its extreme quality. Also the midrange speaker, equipped with a 102 mm diameter paper cone, has been custom made following the demanding specifications of Boenicke Audio , while incorporating one of the brand's exclusive parallel electromechanical resonators. Likewise, it includes a first-order low-pass filter although not a high-pass filter, to which exclusive elements are added to optimize its key parameters. To this we must add, in the mid and mid/high speakers (a custom-made wide-passband design with a diameter of 75 mm), the incorporation of series electromechanical resonators, as well as the addition, in the second of them, from the renowned Harmonix Tuning Bases. Also worth highlighting in the W8 SE+ Version is the presence of Bybee's highly imaginative “Quantum Purifiers”, as well as a circuit specifically designed to linearize the phase response curve. This exquisite column is completed by the exclusive Steinmusic Speaker Match Signature connection elements, which allow the box-amplifier interface to be optimized.
