The legendary Leak brand returns. In this case it presents us with two new elements, an amplifier equipped with a DAC and wireless Bluetooth link and a CD transport that must be digitally connected to the amplifier's integrated DAC. Both models are wrapped in a striking timeless vintage design. The Stereo 130 is optimized for MM moving magnet cartridges, the JFET-based circuitry delivers precise RIAA equalization to vinyl industry standards.

It uses a dedicated amplifier circuit with current feedback technology for the headphone output. The result is dynamic, detailed and engaging performance with all types of headphones. Incorporating the acclaimed ES9018 Saber32 reference chip with ESS Technology's 32-bit HyperStream architecture and time-domain jitter eliminator to deliver ultra-low noise, high dynamic range digital audio files at a sample rate of up to 284 kHz (PCM) DSD256.

The Leak CDT offers the highest standard of CD playback sound reproduction available within this price class. It is equipped with a front USB Type-A port and uses an ultra-smooth slot-charging mechanism that exudes quality and reliability. The CD transport is carefully mounted within its own electromagnetically shielded casing and a dedicated power supply is provided.

The digital clock is controlled by a temperature-compensated crystal oscillator which ensures that the digital output from the coaxial and optical jacks has minimal digital distortion, so digital signal extraction is exceptionally accurate. The USB storage device playback feature offers full transport controls and folder/file navigation. The Leak CDT is compatible with FAT16 and FAT32 formatted devices and will play media in WMA, MP3, WAV and AAC formats.
