To achieve the perfect cleaning, it is also necessary to use a suitable cleaning fluid. Alcoholic liquids pose the risk of destroying micro musical information in the grooves. That is why the cleaning fluid from Rekkord Audio is non-alcoholic and environmentally friendly. The aluminium surface does not suffer from splashes or excess liquid, preventing splashes from affecting the chassis.
The heavy plate stabilises the vinyl during cleaning so that the vacuum arm and motor work evenly over the entire surface. It also keeps the disc label sealed, preventing it from coming into contact with the cleaning fluid to prevent it from deteriorating.
A microporous, water-resistant rubber coating prevents the platter from absorbing water, ensuring that the underside of the disc remains dry after the wash cycle.
The mechanically stable, turned suction arm focuses its full suction power3 directly on the surface of the vinyl record without damaging it. Together with the self-adhesive strips, your records are perfectly cleaned.
