PRO-JECT 1XPRESSION III COMFORT TURNTABLE
PRO-JECT 1XPRESSION III COMFORT TURNTABLE
1-Xpression III Comfort is a true hi-fi classic, its first parent, Pro-Ject 1, was first introduced in 1991. No other entry-level turntable concept is more audiophile and therefore includes a stiff and lightweight tonearm with carbon tube and aluminum cover. The approved belt drive design offers a low noise AC motor with effective motor decoupling, an integrated precision frequency generator "Speed Box" for maximum speed stability and convenient speed change. The audiophile main dish is made of solid non-resonant acrylic, which runs on a low tolerance chrome plated stainless steel shaft in the bronze bearing housing. The main plinth of the turntable is made of low-resonance MDF, which is effectively decoupled from noise generated by the structure by special cones, which use TPE technology. In addition to its class-leading sound quality, this turntable convinces with its classic elegance, dark gray piano finish, and comfort functionality, with its engine stop and automatic arm lift at the end of a disk. To play 78rpm records, a simple stylus swap to 2M78 (not included) and a rotation of the drive belt to a larger pulley diameter is required, that's it!
