The Debut PRO S Balanced follows the same construction criteria as the Debut Pro S but adds the important feature of balanced stereo sound output via a True Balanced Mini XLR connector (cable not included), which provides a clear sonic improvement with more decibels of sensitivity and a better signal-to-noise ratio.
The Debut Pro Balanced is a turntable that pushes the boundaries of the philosophy of a company whose vinyl players, whatever their price, always make a difference. As a consequence, all (except for the polished metal spinning spindle) components of the new Pro-Ject are finished in matt black, while 100% manual controls invite the listener to interact with the product.
In the tradition of the undisputed world number one in analogue audio sources, the Debut PRO S Balanced concentrates many of the Austrian brand's effective engineering solutions, the first of which is a larger base that positions it between its larger X2 and X8 siblings and its slimmer Debut PRO little brother.
Another important element is its precision-machined 10" aluminium S-arm with SME-type connector to facilitate the installation of a wide range of pick-up cartridges.
A diamond-cut aluminium subplatter ensures perfect overall rotational accuracy by adding more mass to the entire coil and drive motor system, while at the same time improving noise and unwanted resonance absorption.
Special mention should be made of the Debut PRO S Balanced's high mass crankset, which is made of function aluminium and at the same time equipped with a TPE (thermoplastic elastomer) ring on its inner side to absorb possible resonances and thus reduce weeping and trembling.
