The Pro-Ject T1 Evo Phono aims to deliver high-fidelity sound on a limited budget with premium materials, elegant aesthetics and a rich, lively sound, thanks to an extensive development process that has made it possible not to compromise on sound performance while achieving such an affordable price.
The elegant CNC-machined plinth, available in high-gloss gloss black, satin white or walnut, has been manufactured without the use of plastic parts and with no hollow spaces inside, thus avoiding unwanted vibrations within the chassis.
The phono preamplifier incorporated in this version of the T1, will allow direct connection to any RCA line input of any amplifier without the need for the specific phono input for turntables.
In keeping with this philosophy throughout the design, the glass platter is also a heavy, resonance-free, zero-resonance design, thus avoiding the shortcomings of plastic or lightweight steel alternatives. Finally, the turntable feet also do a good job of isolating the T1 Evo Phono from ambient vibrations around its hi-fi system.
In the T1 Evo Phono, the motor drives a belt, attached to a new, larger subplatter, which is mounted on an ultra-precise 0.001 mm main bearing with a hardened steel shaft and a brass bushing. Together with the chosen motor system, the T1 Evo Phono is able to guarantee a smooth and anti-resonant rotation for the arm and capsule.
With its straight 8.6" arm and rigid aluminium construction, the one-piece tonearm also features low-friction bearings for absolute precision in use. In addition to its clean, sleek appearance, the integrated head causes no additional vibration and is a great improvement over other detachable, bolt-on or glued-on heads. Supplied with a moving magnet capsule Ortofon OM 10, with an elliptical diamond stylus tip.
The T1 Evo Phono comes complete with super shielded, semi-symmetrical, low capacitance interconnect cables, specifically designed by Pro-Ject, no RCA cables from then.Tambimount and there is a dust cover for added protection and felt to protect your records.
