On 2 October 1950, Charles M. Schultz introduced a comic strip starring an unlikely round-headed hero, "Good old Charlie Brown". Peanuts had just been born. In 2025, Peanuts World celebrates the 75th anniversary of Charles Schultz's beloved creation and the whole gang of personalities who have joined him along the way, especially Snoopy, the coolest sleuth on the planet. This anniversary has been the occasion for Pro-Ject Audio Systems, an avowed fan of the legendary American comic strip, to develop and launch the Peanuts, a unique vinyl player decorated with fragments of comic strips related to music.
The technical basis is the Austrian company's T1 BT model, a turntable designed to provide true High Fidelity sound on a limited budget, which takes the T1 cone, a price/performance prodigy, and combines it with a phono stage and a Bluetooth transmitter so that the user can send his favourite music wirelessly to compatible speakers and headphones.
Endowed with the usual excellence in engineering and material solutions that characterises the Central European brand, the Peanuts, which is handmade in Europe, comes complete with a factory preset moving magnet (MM) capsule Ortofon OM 10, absorbing feet and a custom-developed super-shielded, semi-symmetrical, low-capacitance connection cable.
