The VM760SLC special line contact needle cartridge is the flagship model of the VM cartridge line from Audio-Technica, a line that harks back to A-T's beginnings as a specialist manufacturer of high-end phono cartridges, but also incorporates today's advanced technology.
Like all VM cartridges, the VM760SLC is equipped with two magnets that match the left and right channel positions of the stereo disc groove, ensuring outstanding channel separation and increased frequency response.
The capsule's ultra-light special line contact needle allows it to follow the record groove with incredible precision and minimal abrasion, resulting in nuanced sound reproduction, low distortion and low record wear. Mounting hardware included.
