AT-VM95EN incorporates a bare elliptical diamond. The construction of the stylus, consisting of a piece of diamond with a round shank inserted into the cantilever, creates a lightweight and more rigid transmission system than a diamond tip glued onto a round titanium shank, as is the case with the AT-VM95E.
In addition, the use of a bare diamond means a substantial difference in price, although the quality in reproduction will be immediately apparent, specifically in high-frequency fidelity and quality in transient response.
