As a result, the 2M Black incorporates refinements that are unusual for products in its class. This is the case, for example, with the use of a Shibata Nude diamond stylus identical to that of the Cadenza Black model.
On the other hand, its slim, highly polished profile allows for an exceptionally large contact area with the walls of the disc groove while ensuring a remarkably detailed restitution of all frequencies of the spectrum (including the highest ones). As a result, users of the 2M Black will enjoy the benefits of impeccable sonic reproduction coupled with reduced disc wear, plus a substantial reduction in distortion and phase error as a result of the superior groove tracking capability provided by the improved stylus geometry.
