The 2M Black LVB 250 features a Nude Shibata diamond readout tip in a boron cantilever, a combination used in the renowned MC Cadenza Black moving coil capsule.
In addition, Ortofon has developed a new rubber compound for the suspension system to achieve optimum interaction between compliance and damping. In particular, the formula used is based on an advanced, highly efficient nanometric filler called MWCNT (Multi Wall Carbon Nano Tubes), a material whose outstanding mechanical properties ensure a higher level of damping and improvements in the overall performance of the pick-up capsule.
