Compared to the magnetic core used in most moving coil cartridges, non-magnetic core cartridges have no magnetic distortion, resulting in a natural timbre and an accurate sound field.
While conventional non-magnetic cores struggle with output voltage, the AT-ART9XA features a newly designed coil armature with an improved output voltage of 0.2 mV (1 kHz, 5 cm/s). Threaded capsule mounting holes make installation on a capsule holder or integrated arm an incredibly simple process.
