The Cadenza Mono is the Cadenza range's response to the growing interest in monophonic recordings on micro-groove discs that existed just before the first stereo recordings were released. For many vinyl collectors, the most carefully crafted of these recordings have a special sonic character, while the treasured nature of many of them (such as the historic studio and live sound recordings of legendary classical conductors like Arturo Toscanini or Whilhelm Furtwängler) invites you to play them with equipment designed specifically for them.
This is the case with the Cadenza Mono, a capsule that mounts a Fine Line Nude stylus with r/R 8/40 um radius tip on a cylindrical aluminium cantilever. For ease of assembly, the pins are connected in such a way that the same signal is obtained on both sets of existing pins. Internally, on the other hand, the Cadenza Mono uses the same structure as the Cadenza Red but with optimised settings for stereo sound reproduction, the result being a relaxed and homogeneous sound that will allow the restless and demanding music lover to rediscover their favourite monophonic recordings.
