As a result, the SPU Synergy GM transduction system provides a highly musical sound with outstanding synergy. The combination of a very low voice coil resistance with an unusually high output level (0.5 mV) for this type of design, obtained by using high-power neodymium magnets, is decisive for the high signal-to-noise ratio offered by the SPU Synergy GM.
On the other hand, the exceptional black polished Urushi paint finish gives the wood-based body of the SPU Synergy GM the appearance of a real jewel, while the use of a revised signal generation system ultimately responsible for the high output of this pick-up capsule substantially relaxes the need for a high gain transformer or active preamplification systems when fully exploiting its possibilities. Finally, the seamless integration of the SPU Synergy GM into its distinctive capsule holder provides the user with an elegant and reliable way to connect it to classic arms equipped with detachable capsule holders.
