This exquisite and imposing newly designed three-way, five-speaker bass-reflex centre speaker is the highest level solution for reproducing dialogue and front-end ambience effects in the Olympica Nova range from Sonus Faber. A range that adopts the values that inspired its celebrated predecessor - the Olympica - while adding a spectacular amount of state-of-the-art technological developments.

Thus, the panels used in the Olympica Nova Center II are made of eight layers of bent and pressed wood that provide extreme rigidity to the cabinet, with carefully placed structural ribs used as reinforcement to reduce vibration and handle the full acoustic power generated by the movement of the loudspeakers.

The front panel is made of hand-finished natural wood to enhance the entire enclosure, and real leather cladding is applied around the tweeter and midrange speakers - the 'Voice of Sonus Faber ' - and woofers. In addition, the exterior of the unique Stealth Ultraflex bass-reflex port, characterised by extremely low turbulence, is made from a solid block of extruded aluminium.

In terms of the electro-acoustic technology used, the Olympica Nova Center II is fitted with a silk dome tweeter with the Italian company's DAD (Damped Apex Dome) technology, accompanied by two midrange speakers and two woofers derived from those used in the Homage Tradition collection, with several significant changes having been made to the woofers.

In the case of the woofers, it should be noted that they are fitted with a cone that benefits from a sophisticated sandwich structure in which two sheets of cellulose pulp flank a latest-generation syntactic foam core. A frequency divider filter based on Sonus Faber 's unique "Paracross Topology" is used to manage this loudspeaker assembly, substantially reducing the sensitivity to radio frequency interference, improving transient response and reducing background noise. Finally, the Olympica Nova Center II can be optionally placed on the elegant, dedicated Nova Stand.
