CD AUDIO RESEARCH CD6 SE PLAYER
Combination, like the fabulous Reference CD9 SE model, of a very high resolution CD player with a very high performance digital audio processor, the Audio Research CD6 SE replaces the celebrated Audio Research CD6. It includes four digital inputs capable of handling 24-bit / 192 kHz signals, while the transport mechanics remain what, in the opinion of Audio Research, is the best device of its kind on the world market: the PRO2R of Philips. Regarding its internal architecture, the Audio Research CD6 SE benefits from some of the most notable developments incorporated into the Reference CD9 SE, such as the use of four 24-bit D / A converters operating in mono with two master clocks in order to obtain the highest possible performance. For its part, the analog output section uses DC-coupled circuitry based on FET transistors combined with a multiply regulated power supply. Features: - Reference compact disc reader with digital audio processor. - Philips PRO2R ultra-precise transport mechanics. - Digital processor with 4 x DAC with 24-bit resolution and 192 kHz sampling in monophonic mode. - Two very high precision sync clocks, one for the 44'1 / 88'2 / 176'4 kHz sampling frequencies and the other for the 48/96/192 kHz sampling frequencies. - Resampling of any of the incoming digital signals. - Frequency response: 3Hz - 96 kHz, +0 dB, -3 dB. - Signal / noise ratio of 110 dB. - 111 dB dynamic range. - Gain of 15.5 dB in balanced mode and 8.3 dB in unbalanced mode. - Jitter level less than -10 ps. - Possibility of selecting the type of response of the digital filter. - Analog section based on FET transistors with DC coupling. - Digital inputs: 1 x USB 2.0 type B, 1 x balanced XLR, 1 x coaxial and 1 x TosLink optical. - AES / EBU and S / PDIF digital outputs (with BNC connector). - Balanced and unbalanced analog outputs. - Dimensions: 480 x 134 x 310 mm (W x H x D). - Weight: 11.8 kilos.
