Like its little brother, the Gravis II is the result of a project whose aim was to create a versatile product that could integrate seamlessly into any residential space. It could also be ideally matched not only to the speakers in the new Sonetto range from Sonus Faber but also to virtually any type of music and audio-visual reproduction system.
Thus, the Gravis II can be considered as an option for the most demanding audio systems, representing design synergy at the highest level. It combines a 254 mm front-emission passive radiator with an active woofer of identical dimensions but lower emission and a 400 W continuous amplifier configured in Class AB.
This is complemented by a perfectly tuned mid-dimension enclosure that allows the Gravis II to provide a generous extension of bass response with the speed, impact and level of detail required to underpin the most captivating Hi-Fi and Home Cinema systems.
One engineering detail of the Gravis II that deserves to be highlighted is the fact that the preamplifier stage it includes has been developed specifically for it. The rear panel also incorporates comprehensive connectivity with separate volume controls for the High Level and Line/LFE inputs to facilitate seamless integration with both Hi-Fi and Home Cinema equipment.
So while the High Level connection allows for a seamless mix with the main speakers in music playback, the LFE input can be used simultaneously to provide a highly immersive cinematic experience.
