With identical aesthetics to the OM 3E model, the OM 5E lives up to the name of the family to which it belongs (OM stands for Optimum Matching). The OM5E is an affordable and versatile moving-magnet capsule whose improved signal generation system allows it to exhibit a frequency response curve up to 25,000 Hz.

An elliptical profile stylus made of high quality diamond allows, in combination with an output signal of 4 mV and very remarkable records in such significant parameters as tracking ability and dynamic compliance, perfect adaptation to all types of tone arms (even the lightest ones thanks to a removable mass addition plate) and phono circuitry, making the OM 5E a splendid exponent of a multi-application pick-up capsule.
