Another significant refinement of the Cadenza Blue is the new process developed by Ortofon for the assembly of the armature windings to improve the critical balance between channels. As a result, the Cadenza Blue's soundstage is wide, open and grandiose within moments of being unsealed.
Moreover, both the microdynamics and the sense of ambience are immediately apparent during the playback of complex compositions. Thanks to its particular design, the Cadenza Blue achieves very high levels of definition in the sound perspective, which becomes very present thanks to a fidelity to the music characterised by exceptional fidelity. Like the other models in the Cadenza range, the Cadenza Blue delivers a moderately low-level signal that requires either the use of high-quality phono preamp electronics or, should the user prefer to work with higher signal levels, an adapter transformer.
