As the name suggests, the Omnia houses a powerful product concentrate, namely a preamplifier, a stereo power amplifier, a CD transport mechanics, a DAC, a streamer and a headphone amplifier, all with the addition of generous wired and wireless connectivity.
In terms of engineering, the Omnia features a power amplifier section configured in Class AB, supported by a generous power supply system that combines a 200 VA toroidal transformer with a capacitor bank totalling 60,000 uF, meaning that the Omnia is capable of meeting the demands of a wide range of loudspeakers.
On the digital side, the Omnia's DAC section is based on one of the sophisticated ESS9038 Q2M SABRE 32-bit ESS Technology ESS9038 Q2M SABRE D/A conversion chips. The Omnia also features wireless streaming - up to 24-bit/192 kHz - via DTS Play-Fi and high-precision CD transport mechanics, as well as support for Bluetooth 5.0 and even for turntables equipped with moving magnet (MM) cartridges.
