One of these is the Balance turntable - ranked among the absolute top references of the moment in the influential list of recommended components of the US publication Stereophile - an opulent product, combining a robust 9-centimetre thick aluminium alloy platter and a motor block in a separate block, which is driven by a separate power supply, also available in transistorised (standard) and tube (optional) versions. Equipped with the 10.2 tone arm from Brinkmann and an updated version of the legendary EMT pickup capsule, also manufactured by Brinkmann, the Balance will make even the best-equipped amateurs rediscover their favourite recordings.
