The Thorens TD 1600 combines the tradition of the brand's past with the technology of the century XXI.Externamente quite similar to the famous previous 160 series with classic wooden plinth, two-part platter with internal belt and thick rubber mat, arm board and acrylic dust cover, contains many innovations inside. The conical springs for the subframe are no longer mounted on the top plate, but are placed on the side inferior.Ademurthermore, a small (but strongly tightened) steel thread connects the subframe with a steel pin at the bottom and prevents the subframe from wobbling and only allows vertical movement.A powerful control unit takes care of the motor speed.
