A versatile vinyl player that dramatically improves on the formula applied to the highly praised T1 model by adding a number of genuinely audiophile features that enable it to set new standards of excellence in its price class.
Belt-driven, it includes a timbre-neutral 10 mm thick glass platter and a one-piece 9" aluminium arm with generous adjustment possibilities, which is fitted as standard with a Rainier moving magnet capsule from Japan's Sumiko, as well as an auto-switching speed control.
The assembly is supported by an elegant, high-precision CNC-machined, anti-resonant chassis, which is completely free of plastic components and hollow spaces in order to avoid the generation of potentially damaging vibrations and to increase the stability of the assembly.
The cherry on top of the T2 Super Phono is a new two-stage passive phono preamplifier compatible with moving magnet (MM) capsules imported from the T2 W model, in which several technical modifications have been made in order to adapt it to the larger space available and to further improve its overall performance.
