Mounted in a handmade 50 mm thick aluminium chassis and equipped with a separate power supply, the Fat Bob Reference TMD is a spectacular reference vinyl player that draws on some of the most elaborate engineering solutions from the renowned German firm.

These solutions include an opulent aluminium platter, also 80 mm thick and weighing 15 kg, a hydrodynamic turntable system complemented by the unique Transrotor Magnetic Coupling (TMD) scheme, a motor block mounted in an external enclosure and a sophisticated electronic speed control developed by the German company also located in an external enclosure.
