Featuring the unmistakable aesthetics of its range-mates, this highly refined product has its key differentiating attribute in the use of a hybrid architecture based on Nuvistor valves and Class A operation.
Compared to its predecessor, the celebrated Nu-Vista Vinyl, it now features a fully balanced topology executed with discrete components, as well as three gain stages powered by solid state Class A circuitry.
The equalisation section is completely passive and consists of two separate stages, a solution that is more costly and difficult to implement than the conventional one, but which ensures an extremely accurate representation of the ideal equalisation curve by providing a lower deviation with respect to the latter and better impedance matching.
All the subsystems described are mounted on a cleanly executed printed circuit board (PCB), which has been designed to minimise noise and distortion and has a very low output impedance. In addition, the balanced and unbalanced analogue outputs have their own stages, thus allowing the user to use them simultaneously.
