The M6 VINYL is a demonstration of Musical Fidelity 's love for the phonophone. They set out to make a phono preamp without limits. It offers state-of-the-art technical and sonic performance at a very competitive price and is the embodiment of the true spirit of high-end audio. The real point of any electronic component, really any audio component, is that you don't notice it's there. You completely forget its existence. By that criterion the M6 VINYL is almost perfect. It has no audible noise, it really has no distortion, you can't overdrive your input or output, you can load your cartridge perfectly. It exists to serve music.
