RUBICON LCR has been awarded the EISA 2014-2015 award for best On-Wall loudspeaker. Wall-mountable and with rotatable tweeter, it is a unique loudspeaker in its class that delivers all the dynamism of a floor or bookshelf loudspeaker and unrivalled bass.
Part of the new RUBICON range, this full-range in-wall speaker incorporates a modified version of the hybrid high-frequency module first seen in the EPICON series from the same brand. This module consists of a 29 mm diameter soft dome tweeter allied to a 15 x 45 mm, 1 mm thick ribbon tweeter, which can be rotated to spread the sound across the room if the loudspeaker is placed horizontally, thus avoiding the traditional physical limitation of the optimum listening point.
A 16.5 cm wood fibre cone provides bass reproduction while two hidden bass-reflex ports at the rear of the cabinet enhance the lower octaves of the spectrum. A slim and flexible speaker (it can also be mounted on a stand or on a shelf), the RUBICON LCR is a captivating solution for both stereo and multi-channel sound.
