Marantz Model 30

The Model 30 is a stereo integrated amplifier with 100% analogue circuit topology, consisting of two separate stages, incorporating separate power supplies for the preamplifier and power amplifier sections. Equipped with an oversized toroidal transformer, the first power supply provides an extremely stable power supply that is unaffected by the power demands of the power amplifier section. The power supply for the power stage is designed to provide instantaneous high currents to the switching amplifier used.

The Model 30 also includes a phono stage compatible with moving coil (MC) and moving magnet (MM) cartridges, which combines the unique Marantz Musical Premium Phono EQ circuitry and HDAM modules for exceptional vinyl record playback performance. In addition, there is an input impedance selector for moving coil capsules with three different settings - MC LOW (33 ohms), MC MID (100 ohms) and MC HIGH (390 ohms) - for optimum matching regardless of which model is used. In the tradition of Marantz, the Model 30 incorporates the brand's exclusive Hyper Dynamic Amplifier Modules (HDAM) throughout the rest of its circuitry to deliver the most musical, accurate and detailed sound.
