Copland CSA 150

Located at the top of the new range, CSA150 is a perfect example of the idea of an integrated amplifier as a combination of preamplifier and power stage in the same chassis. With a state-of-the-art hybrid circuit topology (using valves in the input section and transistors in the output section), the Copland CSA150 incorporates power amplification circuitry with current feedback topology, which allows it to deliver power peaks greater than its nominal output, to the point of guaranteeing its full compatibility with practically any speaker available on the market.

There are several design elements of the new Copland that deserve to be highlighted, the first being the combined use of the classic double triode gain stage (the highly appreciated and reliable 6922) from the Swedish firm with a separator stage, based on MOS-FET transistors, to ensure a seamless interface between the tube and solid-state sections.

Regarding the DAC functionality of the new Copland , let us point out that it is carried out by one of the sophisticated ES9018 D/A conversion chips with 32-bit technology (SABRE32 Reference range) from the American ESS Technology, whose 8 channels are combined into 2 blocks of 4 in order to achieve spectacular records in terms of resolution, distortion, transparency and dynamics.
