The iFi Go Bar's smart alloy casing features physical buttons for precise volume adjustment, plus controls to select from various sound tuning options. Fully balanced audio output via 4.4 mm jack (headphones with a balanced cable/connector can benefit from the iFi Go Bar's fully balanced circuitry. S-Balanced output via 3.5 mm minijack (S-Balanced technology reduces crosstalk and noise by 50% compared to normal single-ended headphones).
The circuit is packed with high quality discrete components and special attention has also been paid to power supply filtering, dramatically reducing signal noise introduced via the USB input.
The amplifier design combines purity of sound with power with 475mW into 32 ohms and 7.5V into 600 ohms. No headphone amp this diminutive in size can match the iFi Go's ability to handle tough headphone loads or work with a wider variety of headphones.
The iFi Go Bar also incorporates two power adjustment technologies: iEMatch (attenuates power to accommodate high-sensitivity headphones and IEMs, eliminates background noise, and increases usable volume range) and Turbo (increases gain by 6dB to satisfy the most demanding headphones).
