The iFi Go Bar is the perfectly portable way to make headphones sound heavenly. Connect them to your laptop, tablet, smartphone or any other digital device with a USB port for great sound anywhere.

Accessories include a leather travel case and a cable with Lightening to USB-C connectors, plus another USB-C OTG cable and a USB-C to USB-A adapter.

The DAC section of the iFi Go Bar uses a powerful 16-core XMOS microcontroller to process audio data received at the USB input. Our in-house team has programmed XMOS firmware to optimize sound quality and ensure a seamless partnership with the iFi Go Bar's 32-bit Cirrus Logic DAC chipset.

A custom digital filter minimizes pre-echoes and ringing artifacts. Our GMT (Global Master Timing) precision clock system ensures ultra-low jitter.

The iFi Go Bar's powerful processing achieves high resolution PCM up to 32-bit/384 kHz via USB with Hi-Res True Native playback of all music formats, from MP3 to DSD256, PCM384 and DXD384. DSD256 and MQA.

It offers four tailored digital filtering options: Bit Perfect, Standard, Minimum Phase and Gibbs Transient Optimized and two analog processing modes: XBass+ and XSpace.

The iFi Go Bar's smart alloy casing features physical buttons for precise volume adjustment, plus controls to select from various sound tuning options. A column of colored LEDs offers a handy guide to the format and sample rate of the digital audio being played, and whether XBass+ and/or XSpace are activated.

Fully balanced audio output via 4.4 mm jack (headphones with a balanced cable/connector can benefit from the iFi Go Bar's fully balanced circuitry. S-Balanced output via 3.5 mm minijack (S-Balanced technology reduces crosstalk and noise by 50% compared to normal single-ended headphones).

The circuit is packed with high quality discrete components and special attention has also been paid to power supply filtering, dramatically reducing signal noise introduced via the USB input.

The amplifier design combines purity of sound with power with 475mW into 32 ohms and 7.5V into 600 ohms. No headphone amp this diminutive in size can match the iFi Go's ability to handle tough headphone loads or work with a wider variety of headphones.

The iFi Go Bar also incorporates two power adjustment technologies: iEMatch (attenuates power to accommodate high-sensitivity headphones and IEMs, eliminates background noise, and increases usable volume range) and Turbo (increases gain by 6dB to satisfy the most demanding headphones).

The 16-core XMOS chip processes audio data received via the USB digital input. This new low latency XMOS microcontroller has greatly improved processing power. Compared to the current generation of eight-core chips, this new 16-core IC offers twice the clock speed (2000MIPS) and four times more memory (512KB), as well as the latest SuperSpeed USB standard.

iFi's in-house digital development team has programmed the XMOS firmware to optimize sound quality and ensure a seamless partnership with the Cirrus Logic 32-bit DAC chipset used in the iFi Go.

Extensive jitter eradication technologies are applied at the digital stage, such as our GMT (Global Master Timing) femto-precision clock and intelligent memory buffer. This represents a total “out of the box” systematic digital solution that solves jitter once and for all.

TDK C0G (Ceramic Class 1) capacitors offer high stability and low losses for resonant circuit applications. Inching closer to the theoretical ideal of pure, constant-frequency capacitance, these capacitors reduce capacitor-induced distortion to incredibly low levels.
