iFi Audio Go Pod Max

Encased in precision-machined aluminium, the iFi GO pod Max combines lossless Bluetooth and K2HD Technology and built-in UV sterilisation to deliver the most advanced wireless EMI experience available to date.

K2HD revitalises flat digital recordings by restoring rich, natural harmonics. Its advanced high-frequency extension revives harmonics above 22 kHz, bringing the sound closer to the original studio master.

The GO pod Max features high-fidelity circuitry, with separate stages optimised for Bluetooth, DAC and amplification. It automatically detects the impedance of your in-ear monitor IEM headphones and adjusts the output accordingly.

The GO pod Max receives CD-quality audio over Bluetooth, lossless, with the same performance as a wired DAC. It also supports low-latency codecs for smooth playback of games and videos.

Four built-in UV lights sterilise your EMI between uses, helping to reduce harmful bacteria that can build up over time.

Wireless technology has always been a battle of compromises: sound quality versus convenience. For those unwilling to sacrifice audio performance, high-end IEMs have become the in-between option: more portable than circumaural, but still with a tangle of cables and reliant on an external DAC.

Each capsule incorporates a flagship QCC5181 chipset, capable of receiving CD-quality audio wirelessly and without data loss when using the aptX Lossless codec. For the listener, this means that sound is not sacrificed, despite being wireless. aptX Lossless offers up to four times the bandwidth of standard Bluetooth, delivering exceptional clarity, outstanding fidelity and a truly immersive listening experience.
And if your source device doesn't yet support Bluetooth Lossless, other high-quality codecs are available, including LDAC and aptX Adaptive.

While CD quality is often considered the standard for digital audio, many original recordings are captured at higher resolutions. Downscaling to CD quality can reduce the resolution 256 times. Frequencies above 22 kHz, and the harmonics vital to a natural, emotional sound, are lost, leaving the music flat and lifeless.

Using the new K2 parameters reconfigured by JVC KENWOOD for iFi, we tailor the K2HD experience to each device. In the GO pod Max, K2HD restores the digital signal to 96 kHz, recovering the lost signal.

K2HD interpolates the lost data, restoring natural sounding harmonics and reviving the depth, warmth and soul of the original performance.

The GO pod Max retains the same productivity-enhancing features that made the original a fan favourite.

Discreet and intuitive touch controls on each pod let you manage music, take calls, adjust volume or activate voice assistants like Siri or Gemini with a simple touch - ideal for times when your hands are busy or you're on the go.

When it comes to business calls, dual microphones combined with Qualcomm cVc noise cancellation ensure your voice stands out in the chaos and delivers crystal-clear clarity, even on the most intense calls or journeys.

And when the workday is done, IPX5 water resistance ensures your IEMs can go with you wherever you go: from sudden downpours to high-intensity workouts, the GO pod Max is ready when you are.

Not only have we taken the pods to the max: we've also redesigned the charging case to match. Its precision-machined aluminium top cover exudes the same prestige and refinement found in the new pods, while an enlarged interior now accommodates even larger in-ear IEM earbuds with ease.

Inside, four high-intensity UV lights sterilise your earphones between uses, helping to keep them clean, fresh and performing at their best.

First, there are the interchangeable ear loops, now softer and more comfortable than ever. Included are 2-pin and MMCX ear loops to cover most users, but there are T2, PentaconnEar and A2DP ear loops available for those with a more exotic taste in EMI.

Secondly, there is our automatic impedance matching. By simply placing the pods in the case with the IEMs attached, the GO Pod's circuitry will sense the impedance level of the IEMs and intelligently adjust to one of four settings: 16 ohms, 32 ohms, 64 ohms and even 300 ohms for those with the highest impedance IEMs available.
