The MMF-5.3 is the second model of the new third generation with significant improvements over the more basic MMF-2.3, such as doubling its mass with the double pinto, the 9" upper arm or the capsule incorporating a renowned Ortofon.

The distinctive design isolates the most important components for playback (stand, platter and capsule) from the upper platform of the motor, switch, wiring and feet mounted on the lower platform. Viscoelastic cones separate the two, dampening vibration.
