The DALI V-16 F is a true powerhouse capable of complementing the most demanding high-end loudspeakers and filling the largest rooms with powerful effects and deep bass. It is the state-of-the-art in high-power, wide-bandwidth, ultra-low distortion subwoofers for high-end home theatre systems and multi-channel music systems.
This subwoofer features the benefits of CSS technology, which achieves a constant surface area that is better at absorbing system resonances, thereby reducing reflected sound and resonances on the driver surface, drastically reducing overall distortion.
In addition, the driver features a low-loss diaphragm and an extreme high-power motor with ultra-low distortion. This is coupled with a bandwidth that expands beyond 1000 Hz, significantly exceeding the bandwidth of traditional subwoofers.
All of this technology is housed within an enclosure that has been custom-engineered for the remarkable driver of the DALI V-16 F. With a volume of 90 litres, efficiency is prioritised using cubic geometry. Manufactured as an immensely rigid structure of 25mm composite wood panels with multiple internal bracing arms. The front panel doubles in width to 50mm to ensure extra support for the large driver and four 350mm Continuous Flare reflex ports.
Designed for use in both high power and audiophile Hi-End quality home cinema equipment, the DALI V-16 F is capable of reproducing both complex bass passages and subtle details in LFE mixes with ultimate speed, agility and control.
In addition, it is equipped with user-configurable single-ended RCA and balanced XLR connectors, making the DALI V-16 F the perfect match for any AV receiver or processor.
It also features three sound presets for easy setup: Cinema - designed for LFE content in audio-visual media, emphasising bass and impact effects -, Music - for optimal extension and smooth reproduction of musical bass, focusing on timing and dynamics to deliver the most neutral frequency response - and Boost - designed for moments that require extra power for "party mode", emphasising impact and fun.
