The HT/1205 MKII is a sleek and compact active subwoofer with a perfectly proportioned hermetic enclosure, while being complemented by a solid internal bracing structure that minimises the influence of potential vibrations generated by its new sophisticated 305 mm diameter (12") CarbonGlas transducer, which is designed for large displacements with almost no distortion.

As far as the internal amplifier is concerned, it is entrusted to a state-of-the-art NextGen design (NextGen5) equipped with MOSFET modules, which delivers 500 watts continuous in Class D and allows the HT/1205 MKII, together with REL's renowned PerfectFilters input filters, to deliver sound pressure levels 50% higher than its predecessor without sacrificing accuracy or musicality.

In terms of wired connectivity, both line and LFE stereo inputs and outputs are available with RCA connectors, and wireless connection via HT-Air is also possible.
